Training in the specialty / OP is conducted according to a two-stage technology (bachelor-master).

- design and development of various components of information systems and information systems in general;
- installation, configuration and administration of the network infrastructure of information systems;
- design and administration of databases of information systems;
- support of information, software, technical, organizational and legal support of information systems and their elements.

OP "Information technologies and data protection"
A special feature of the program is the specialization in the development and application of mathematical models and methods of information security and data protection in information systems for various purposes, as well as specialized software. Providing high-quality education to students in the field of information security who are able to solve complex tasks related to the protection, reliable storage, transmission and processing of information, based on advanced achievements in the field of information technologies
OP "Information Technologies and Data Protection" aims to become one of the leaders in training specialists who are able to comprehensively approach the security analysis of information storage, processing and transmission systems, identify vulnerabilities and be able to eliminate them.
The goal is to train highly qualified specialists in the field of information security who are able to solve complex problems related to the protection, reliable storage, transmission and processing of information, based on advanced achievements in the field of mathematics and information technologies using modern hardware and software, who are able to comprehensively approach the security analysis of information storage, processing and transmission systems, identify vulnerabilities and are able to eliminate vulnerabilities.
Students will be able to troubleshoot problems and failures of computer hardware, develop control programs for robotic systems in accordance with the technical task, be able to write program code using programming languages for processing large-volume distributed high-level data, test components of the IS software, conduct a system analysis of the IS, their relationships, working design, selection of source data for design, selection of the most effective DBMS for installing and configuring software, Be able to design a user interface, have the skills to implement software for cryptographic algorithms.
They will have the ability to program in modern operating environments and database management systems, possess the tools of expert systems, methods of developing and managing intelligent systems for solving
information processing tasks.
Upon completion of their studies at the university, graduates of the bachelor's degree are awarded the academic degree of Bachelor of Engineering and Technology in the specialty "Information Technologies and Data Protection".
