
Distance learning
Distance learning is a method of distance learning using the Internet, in which the teacher and the trainees are physically in different places. Training at the faculty of distance learning is conducted in 13 specialties:

In accordance with the Rules for the organization of the educational process for distance educational technologies approved by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 19, 2012, No. 112 DET applies to students:
on the reduced educational programs on the basis of technical and professional, post-secondary and higher education;
for persons who are physically handicapped, including disabled children, I and II persons with disabilities at all levels of education;
who have left the state for exchange programs for students at the higher education level, with the exception of Bolashak scholarships;
extramural studies, called up for military service at the level of higher education;
who are on a long trip abroad (more than 4 months) at the level of higher education.
The goal of education with the use of distance educational technologies is: to expand the capacity of citizens to receive educational services, in the most complete satisfaction of their educational needs, regardless of place of residence, social status, age. The University confirmed the correspondence of the organization of the educational process for distance educational technologies to the normative documents of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and received permission from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the use of distance educational technologies in the educational process, pursuant to Order No. 157 of April 7, On August 15, 2012, the faculty of "Distance Learning" (FDU) was established to activate the processes of introducing distance learning technologies in accordance with the Development Strategy of the Kazakh University of Finance and International Trade.
As the main tool for the implementation of distance learning technology at the Kazakh University of Finance Economics and International Trade, the distance education system "Moodle" is used. The software platform for distance learning support is implemented on the basis of the interaction between the Platonus automated information environment and the Moodle support system.
In addition to the standard online-offline interaction services (chat, forum, questioning, e-mail), the interactive online service is used to enhance interactivity on the portal, which provides a virtual online class with various tools that allow you to give the maximum information (web camera image, built-in chat, an unlimited number of interactive whiteboards, broadcasting of video materials and user actions from the monitor screen, etc.).
Documents are accepted on the basis of technical and professional, post-secondary education fromJune 20 to July 9, 2017, and on the basis of higher education fromJune 20 to August 25, 2017.
