Rules for admission to study at KazUEFIT for undergraduate programs
1. General Provisions
1.1 These "Rules for admission to study at the Kazakh University of Economics, Finance and International Trade" (hereinafter referred to as the Rules) determine the procedure for admission to the Kazakh University of Economics, Finance and International Trade (hereinafter - the University).
1.2 On the basis of the existing license, according to the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On issuing, recalling and reissuing the license" No. 0062161 of July 28, 2007, students are admitted to the University for full-time, correspondence, and distance education.
1.3 The admission of persons to the University on bachelor's programs is carried out according to their applications on a competitive basis in accordance with the points of the certificate issued on the basis of the results of the unified national testing (hereinafter - UNT) or complex testing.
1.4 Admission documents for admission to the Bachelor is carried out from 01 June to 28 August.
1.5 The admission of persons to the University is carried out on the basis of the state educational order (educational grants), as well as on the basis of payment for education at the expense of citizens' own resources and other sources.
1.6 Admission of persons who have technical and vocational, post-secondary education (colleges), to related specialties for training on shorter terms on a fee basis is carried out based on the results of integrated testing. The list of related specialties is approved by the authorized body in the field of education.
1.7 Admission of persons with higher education for training in a shortened period on a fee basis is carried out by the admission committee in the form of an interview.
1.8 Admission of foreign citizens for training on a fee basis is carried out in the form of an interview conducted by the Admission Committee of the University.
1.9 Admission to the specialty, requiring special or creative preparation (hereinafter - creative specialties), is carried out taking into account creative examinations (hereinafter - creative examinations).
1.10 The following documents are submitted to the Admissions Committee of the University:
1.10.1 application for admission,
1.10.2 document on the general average (average general), technical and vocational (primary and secondary professional, post-secondary) or higher education (original),
1.10.3 8 photos of size 3x4,
1.10.4 medical certificate form 086-U, a picture of fluorography,
1.10.5 the certificate of UNT or complex testing,
1.10.6 certificate of award of an educational grant (if any),
1.10.7. A copy of the identity document (original for reconciliation),
1.10.8 health certificate or medical certificate of vaccination (form 063) (for daytime education),
1.10.9. A copy of the registration certificate or military certificate (for the day-long form of training);
1.10.10 a copy of the document confirming the benefits (for orphans and disabled 1 and 2 groups), the conclusion of the medical and social expertise (ITU) on the lack of contraindications for training.
1.11 Documents submitted in a foreign language must have a notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian.
1.12 Documents on education issued by foreign educational organizations shall undergo the procedure of nostrification in accordance with the procedure established by law after enrollment of persons during the first semester of training.
2. Normative references
References to the following normative documents are used in this Regulation:
2.1 Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education" of July 27, 2007 No. 319-III ZRK;
2.2. Typical rules for admission to education in an education organization that implement professional higher education curricula approved by Government Decree No. 111 of January 19, 2012 (as amended and supplemented by Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan as of April 6, 2017 No. 174);
2.3. The rules for awarding an educational grant for payment of higher education, approved by the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 23, 2008, No. 58.
3. Admission of persons to creative professions and the procedure for conducting creative examinations
3.1 Admission of applications for creative specialties is conducted by the Admission Committee of the University from June 20 to July 7.
3.2 In KazUEFIT, the specialty 5В042100 "Design" belongs to the creative specialty. At receipt on creative specialties reception of applications is carried out on a location of higher educational institutions.
3.3 Applicants to creative professions, pass creative examinations, which are carried out by the subject commission, the composition of which is approved by the order of the rector of the University. The number of creative exams is two: drawing and drawing.
3.3.1 The creative exam is conducted from 8 to 13 July.
3.3.2 The maximum score for the creative exam is 40.
3.3.3 Persons who have received less than 15 points on the creative test or who have not appeared on it, are not allowed to undertake complex testing for admission to this specialty.
3.4 The re-surrender of the creative examination is not allowed.
3.5 For individuals entering the creative arts, points for three subjects of testing are taken into account, for each of them there should be not less than 5 points:
3.5.1 Mathematical literacy ;,
3.5.2 Literacy reading;
3.5.3 History of Kazakhstan.
4. The order of carrying out of complex testing
4.1 The acceptance of applications for participation in the integrated testing is carried out by the Admission Committee of the University from 01 to 20 June.
4.2 Integrated testing is conducted from 17 to 23 July.
4.3 Integrated testing is conducted on the basis of testing sites (basic higher education institutions), the list of which is approved by the order of the authorized body in the field of education.
4.4 Complex testing is conducted for the following persons:
4.4.1 graduates of organizations of general secondary education (secondary general) of past years,
4.4.2 graduates of technical and professional (primary and secondary professional, post-secondary) education organizations,
4.4.3 graduates of secondary schools, trained in the international exchange of schoolchildren abroad,
4.4.4 graduates of comprehensive schools that did not take part in UNT,
4.4.5 graduates of comprehensive schools with non-Kazakh and non-Russian languages of instruction,
4.4.6 graduates of the republican music boarding schools,
4.4.7 persons who have graduated from educational institutions abroad.
4.5 In order to participate in comprehensive testing, the applicant submits the following documents to the University Admissions Committee:
4.5.1 application on a blank form,
4.5.2 certificate of completion of general secondary education (secondary general) or diploma on completion of technical and vocational (primary or secondary professional, post-secondary) education (original),
4.5.3 receipt for payment for testing,
4.5.4 two photo cards of 3 x 4 size,
4.5.5 medical certificate on the form 086-U, a photograph of fluorography,
4.5.6 a copy of the identity document (original for verification),
4.5.7 health certificate or medical certificate of vaccination (form 063) (for day-care training).
4.5.8 Comprehensive testing is conducted at the request of those entering the Kazakh or Russian languages in the amount of training programs.
4.5.9 For graduates of schools in five subjects:
4.5.9.1 Mathematical literacy;
4.5.9.2 Literacy reading;
4.5.9.3. The history of Kazakhstan;
4.5.9.4 1 profile subject of choice;
4.5.9.5 2 profile subject of choice.
4.5.10 For graduates of colleges (for training under the reduced program) in two subjects:
4.5.10.1 General Discipline;
4.5.10.2 Profile subject of choice.
4.6 The list of specialties indicating subjects of choice and profile subjects of UNT and complex testing is approved by the authorized body in the field of education.
Repeated UNT and complex testing
4.7 Repeated UNT and complex testing is conducted for the following participants of UNT and complex testing:
4.7.1 do not score a threshold,
4.7.2 for persons who did not take part in UNT and complex testing;
4.7.3 for persons with canceled results of UNT and CT
4.8 Persons who have scored a threshold point for repeated UNT and complex testing are enrolled in the University only on a fee basis.
4.9 The acceptance of documents for participation in the re-testing is carried out by higher educational institutions from August 1 to August 8, and the repeated UNT and CT is conducted from August 19 to August 24.
4.10 In order to participate in the re-testing, the applicant submits the following documents to the University Admissions Committee:
4.10.1. Application on a blank form,
4.10.2 a document on the general average (secondary general) or technical and vocational (primary or secondary professional, post-secondary) education (original),
4.10.3 receipt for payment for testing,
4.10.4 two photographs of size 3x4,
4.10.5 medical certificate on the form 086-U, a photograph of fluorography,
4.10.6. A copy of the identity document,
4.10.7 certificate of UNT or CT (if available).
4.11 The graduates of the organizations of general secondary education of the current year who have passed UNT, CT participants who have scored not less than 50 points by the results of testing are included in the University for paid training.
The threshold score includes points in the following subjects:
4.11.1 For school leavers:
4.11.1.1Mathematical literacy; (not less than 5 b.)
4.11.1.2 Literacy reading; (not less than 5 b.)
4.11.1.3. The history of Kazakhstan (at least 5 b.)
4.11.1.4 1 profile subject of choice; (not less than 15 b.)
4.11.1.5 2 profile subject of choice. (not less than 15 b.)
4.11.2 For graduates of colleges:
4.11.2.1 General (not less than 5 b.);
4.11.2.2 Profiling (not less than 13 b).
4.12 Applicants who did not score a threshold after the repeated testing have the opportunity to enroll in a higher education institution on a paid basis for full-time study until the end of the first academic period.
4.13 Upon completion of the first academic period, this category of persons again tests for the period from January 20 to 24.
If the test is successfully passed, they are enrolled in a higher educational institution on a paid basis, with a re-calculation of the credits that have been spent on the disciplines passed.
4.14 In the case of not overcoming the threshold score on the basis of this repeated testing, they are subject to deduction from the university.
The procedure for conducting integrated testing
4.15 The complex testing takes 1 hour 40 minutes. Retake of testing is not allowed.
4.16 When conducting complex testing, it is not allowed to change from place to place, exchange exam materials, write-off, enter into the classroom and use textbooks, other methodical literature, mobile communication equipment (pager, cell phones).
4.17 The number of test tasks for the General Subject is 20, with the choice of one correct answer from the five proposed ones (1 correct answer = 1 point). On the profiling subject -40, of them 20 questions with the choice of one correct answer from the five proposed ones (1 correct answer = 1 point), 10 questions with the choice of several correct answers from the set of suggestions (Full choice of correct answers = 2 points, 1 error (not found) 1 correct answer or 1 wrong answer selected) = 1point,
2 or more errors = 0 points), 10 questions situational tasks (1 correct answer = 1 point).
4.18 The processing of the results of the integrated testing is carried out at a higher educational institution where comprehensive testing was carried out.
4.19 The correct answer codes are displayed after the processing of the test results.
4.20 The results of the integrated testing are announced by the state commission on the day of its holding.
4.21 Based on the results of the comprehensive testing, each participant of the test is issued a certificate of a standard form, which is issued by the state commission within three calendar days after testing.
Appeal
4.22 In order to ensure compliance with unified requirements and resolve disputes in assessing test tasks, protecting the rights of participants in integrated testing for the period of testing, the Republican Appeals Commission (hereinafter - the Republican Appeals Commission) and the Appeals Committee in each of the basic higher education establishments are established.
4.23 Appeals commissions are created to consider applications of persons who do not agree with the results of the integrated testing and / or the content of the test tasks.
4.24 An application for appeal is submitted to the chairman of the appeal board personally by the participant in the test. Applications for the content of test tasks and for technical reasons are accepted until 13:00 the next day after the announcement of the results of the integrated testing and are considered by the Appeals Commission within one day. The applicant must have a document proving his identity, a pass for testing.
4.25 The Appeals Commission works with each individual individually. In the event that a person does not appear at the meeting of the appeal committee, his application for appeal is not considered.
5. Reception on the state educational grant
5.1 Admission of persons to the University for training on an educational grant is carried out on their applications on a competitive basis in accordance with the points of the certificate issued by the results of a single national testing (hereinafter - UNT) or complex testing.
5.2 Educational grants are awarded on a competitive basis for specific professions, language departments and forms of training in accordance with the points of certificates based on the results of a single national testing or comprehensive testing according to the order of specialties announced by applicants with the issuance of a certificate of award of an educational grant.
5.3 To participate in the competition for awarding educational grants, a citizen submits the following documents to the University Admissions Committee:
- application form on the form,
- document on education (original),
- Certificate of unified national or complex testing,
- two photos in size 3x4,
- medical certificate on the form 086-U, a photograph of fluorography,
- a copy of the identity document (original for verification),
- Accompanying certificate (for boys).
5.4 Applications for participation in the competition for the award of educational grants are accepted from July 23 to July 31.
5.5 In the application, a citizen to participate in the competition for an educational grant indicates the chosen specialty and higher education institution. Thus the citizen can specify 4 high schools.
5.6 If a subject of the choice coincides, the citizen can specify four specialties.
5.7 In the competition for an educational grant, it is necessary to score at least 50 points in the following subjects on the basis of testing results:
5.7.1 For school leavers:
5.7.1.1Mathematical literacy; (not less than 5 b.)
5.7.1.2 Literacy reading; (not less than 5 b.)
5.7.1.3 History of Kazakhstan (at least 5 b.)
5.7.1.4 1 profile subject of choice; (not less than 15 b.)
5.7.1.5 2 profile subject of choice. (not less than 15 b.)
5.7.2 For graduates of colleges:
5.7.2. 1 General profile (not less than 5 b.);
5.7.2. 2 Profiling (not less than 13 b).
6 Reception of foreign citizens
6.1 Admission of foreign citizens for training on a fee basis is carried out in the form of an interview conducted by the Admissions Committee of the University.
6.2 Persons without citizenship permanently residing in the Republic of Kazakhstan and persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan shall be granted the right to receive free higher education on a competitive basis in accordance with the state educational order if they receive the education of this level for the first time.
6.3 The right to receive free higher education on a competitive basis by foreigners in accordance with the state educational order is determined by international treaties of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
6.4 Documents submitted in a foreign language must have a notarized translation into Kazakh or Russian.
6.5 Documents on education issued by foreign educational organizations are subject to the procedure of nostrification in accordance with the procedure established by law after enrollment of persons during the first semester of training.
7 Enrollment in the University
7.1 Admission to the number of undergraduate students is conducted by the Admission Committee of the University from 10 to 28 August.
7.2 In the University for paid training, graduates of the organizations of general secondary education of the current year, who have passed UNT, participants of complex testing, who scored according to the results of testing, are enrolled.
7.2.1 For school leavers not less than 50 points, in the following subjects:
7.2.1.1 Mathematical literacy; (not less than 5 b.)
7.2.1.2 Reading Literacy; (not less than 5 b.)
7.2.1.3. The history of Kazakhstan (at least 5 b.)
7.2.1.4 1 profile subject of choice; (not less than 15 b.)
7.2.1.5 2 profile subject of choice. (not less than 15 b.)
7.2.2 For graduates of colleges:
7.2.2.1 General (not less than 5 b.);
7.2.2.2 Profiling (not less than 13 b).
7.3 Admission is conducted separately for specialties and language departments.
7.4 Admission to the specialty for which creative examinations are established, is conducted taking into account the scores for these exams.
7.5 In the event that an incoming student credits are issued by second-tier banks, the applicant is enrolled in the number of students of the University, and when providing them with an appropriate certificate from the bank about finding the documents under consideration.
In this case, he is granted a deferral on payment of the amount established in the contract for the provision of educational services and payable before enrolling a citizen, for the period of issuing an educational loan, but not more than four weeks from the receipt of the certificate from the bank.
7.6 Citizens with a disability of the first or second group, children with disabilities, as well as persons with disabilities from childhood, submit a medical and social expertise (ITU) conclusion to the Admission Committee of the University about the absence of contraindications for training in the chosen specialty.
7.7 The University submits to the authorized body in the field of education information on the established forms and on time, and after the enrollment - within ten days of the final report on the organization and conduct of the reception, copies of orders for the enrollment of students, as well as the originals of the certificates of holders of the educational grant, him, and these persons (full name, specialty) who did not attend the University.
7.8 Questions not regulated by these Rules shall be independently decided by the Admissions Committee of the University
